Diploma

Diploma program is based on a 8 year syllabus for all instruments.

Certificate Program in Carnatic Instruments – A structured 8-year curriculum for young learners with a deep interest in Carnatic music.

The Certificate Program is a comprehensive, long-term training track for school-age students committed to learning Carnatic music in a disciplined and immersive way. Built around a thoughtfully designed 8-year syllabus, the program balances rigorous training with supportive mentorship, offering a path that nurtures both technical excellence and artistic growth.

This program is ideal for students who want a clear progression in their studies and may eventually prepare for an arangetram (solo debut), pursue music examinations, or perform in ensemble and solo settings.

Mentorship & Peer Learning
To build confidence and consistency, students also receive support from advanced students who serve as teaching assistants. These mentors help reinforce lessons, provide guidance during practice and model disciplined learning habits.

Additionally, group sessions and ensemble work provide valuable opportunities for younger learners to observe, interact, and grow within a supportive community.

Progress Tracking
Each student receives a progress journal and is guided through quarterly evaluations. These are informal but structured: students demonstrate what they’ve learned, receive constructive feedback, and set goals for the next quarter. Parents are included in progress updates and encouraged to support at-home practice routines.

At the end of each two-year stage, students receive a certificate of completion, recognizing their growth and encouraging further progress toward the final diploma.

Performance & Community
Public performances, small studio concerts and participation in annual student showcases are an integral part of the learning experience. These events help build stage presence, reinforce confidence, and connect students with the broader musical community.

Who Can Join
– Children ages 5 and up
